PrEP, or pre-exposure prophylaxis, is a daily pill that can help prevent HIV. Even if you don't have HIV, taking PrEP every day can lower your risk of receiving HIV from sex by more than 99%.

How does the PrEP Clinic work?
Book
To get started, call the PrEP line at 941-529-7710 to speak with one of our PrEP Navigators. Walk-ins are welcome at our clinic from 10a.m. to 4p.m. on Wednesdays.
Chat
Upon your visit to our clinic, you will complete a rapid HIV test (results in 15 minutes) and talk with our team to see if PrEP is the right choice for you. Health insurance is not required, and your visit is always free.
Counsel + Ship
Our team will set up a telehealth visit with one of our physicians. After your appointment, the physician will write you a prescription for PrEP, which you can pick up at our pharmacy or have delivered to you for free.
Refill
PrEP follow-ups are easy — our PrEP navigator is here to remind you about all of your appointment times and what additional steps you need to take.

We offer STI testing and treatment, rapid HIV testing and Hep C testing to everyone, as well as free condoms and lube. Stop in at any time on Tuesdays, and check out our walk-in clinic.
